N95
masks will give you a false sense of security if you use them
against H5N1 or any virus for that matter.
We can wholeheartedly recommend one mask that offers much better protection.
It's called the NanoMask® and it's manufactured by Emergency Filtration,
Las Vegas, NV.
But first, examine the table below showing virus sizes, so you can judge for
yourself how effective the NanoMask is. The abbreviation nm means nanometer,
which is one billionth of a meter. N95 can only filter out material greater
in size than .3 microns, which equal to 300 nanometers. This Nano Mask can
filter out particles 3 times smaller than the flu virus. Most viruses you see
in the table below are smaller than 300 nanometers (0.3 microns), therefore,
N95's are useless against these viruses.

tests were conducted through Nelson Laboratories, an FDA approved
lab testing facility. |
